Busy is a serious trading product with a following in distribution and wholesale, and its users tend to know exactly why they chose it. The comparison is not about accounting depth — it is about what happens when the business stops fitting on the machines in one office.

Busy handles multi-godown stock well, on the machines that can reach the server. The friction starts when the third godown is in another town and somebody is emailing a stock statement every evening.
An order taken on a phone against live stock and the customer’s credit limit either exists in your system at 11am or gets typed in at 7pm from a carbon copy. That gap is where most of the arguments about stock come from.
Both products are capable. Only one of them makes adding the new storekeeper a purchasing decision, and at fifteen or twenty users that arithmetic tends to decide the comparison on its own.
Working without the internet, and filing. A desktop product keeps going when the line goes down, and Busy transmits e-invoices and e-way bills today where tBiz prepares and validates them but does not yet send them.
Yes — masters, opening balances and Day Book vouchers, brought across as balanced journals with exact totals. Old sales are not re-created as itemised invoices, so most people keep the Busy file as an archive for the closed years.
Not substantially. Entry is keyboard-first with a visible key strip and the same grid conventions, and the underlying concepts are identical. The adjustment is usually a day rather than a course.
Yes — stock is held per warehouse with its own reorder levels, transfers post a document that an e-way bill can be raised from, and valuation ties to the balance sheet.
tBiz stops, as any browser product does. That is the honest trade for having the books reachable from three towns, and it is the main reason a business with a genuinely unreliable line should stay on a desktop product.
Masters, opening balances and Day Book vouchers import from a Busy export as balanced journals. The onboarding team runs the first import with you.
Import your masters, run both in parallel, and decide on the books rather than on a demo.
